Hey {{ Name | there }}!

This week is for selectors you don't get to see every day.

Tuesday, Nervous Records pops up at Shinsen on the Bowery — sushi, drinks, and a headliner who reveals themselves on the night. The kind of Tuesday that feels like a secret you're glad you kept.

Wednesday, Jack Pompe takes Jupiter from early evening through loft-style deep cuts into something ecstatic before the night is through. And Son of Lee holds down his all-vinyl all-night Wednesday residency at Outer Heaven — disco, house, and the genre-spanning sensibility of someone who thrives in the small rooms that are the lifeblood of this city's underground. Two selectors, two rooms, both worth your Wednesday.

Thursday brings heavy hitters to MAD Radio. Benny Soto, Hector Romero, Hex Hector, and Steve Travolta share the floor for a birthday celebration that starts at happy hour and runs nine hours deep. Serious New York underground credentials, all in one room.

Saint James Joy takes the Domino Park skating rink with DJ Chill and DJ Jo Vill for a free Thursday evening on wheels. Delightful, community-rooted, and exactly the kind of only-in-New-York moment that doesn't need any further explanation.

And as always, ROMANCE at Gabriela anchors the week before the weekend opens up. Eli Escobar, big emotions, crying encouraged. Then if you want full art school dropout queer joy, ON TOP at Le Bain is Susanne Bartsch delivering exactly that.

🔔 Never Miss a Last-Minute Drop 🔔

NYC club culture runs on its own timeline — which means some of the best events only surface 24 hours before they happen, buried in someone's Instagram stories with an RSVP link that disappears in ten minutes.

I catch as much as I can for the newsletter, but when something drops late, Instagram is where I post it first.
