Hey {{ Name | there }}!

Just because it's a holiday weekend coming up doesn't mean the dance floors are taking a break.

This week has range. Real range.

Tuesday, House of FLINTA at Bossa Nova brings underground techno centered on community and visibility — six selectors, driving rhythms, and a space where the whole point is who's in the room. And if you want something more low-key, the Swallowed Open Decks at Selva is a vinyl and USB night with a record swap running all the way through.

Wednesday, if you want retro, funky, and fun, Wednesdays on Wheels at Xanadu has DJ Arson keeping the rink moving through disco, funk, and hip-hop all night. If you want something harder, the Life Of crew is back at Bossa with Berlin's dj zozi in tow for a night that runs until 4am.

Thursday is stacked. Juan Maclean headlines Synthicide at Bossa Nova — a DFA stalwart who knows exactly what he's doing to make a room go sideways in the best way. Archivio Records takes over Signal with mink, Pablo Romero, and Daniel Dutts for a no-phones night of hypnotic, patient house. And if you need something genuinely historic, Underworld plays Knockdown Center — two sets, no support, their only 2026 US headline show. Born Slippy energy in a room built to hold it.

As always, ROMANCE at Gabriela has Eli Escobar doing exactly what he does best. And ON TOP at Le Bain has That Matt, boyyyish, and June Ferrari delivering Susanne Bartsch's over-the-top queer rooftop magic.

The holiday weekend starts Friday. But Tuesday through Thursday? That's yours.

Home mixers weren’t built for bread. We fixed that.

Ever tried to make dough in your regular mixer?

The results aren’t pretty: Clumpy texture. Stodgy bread. Overheated motors.

So, we took the same dough-making technology that professional bakers have used for decades and packed it into a countertop machine.

Introducing Ooni Halo Core.

Its secret? Spiral mixing.

In a regular mixer, a single hook chases your dough around the bowl — like someone trying to knead with one hand tied behind their back.

But in a spiral mixer, three synchronised attachments fold and stretch dough as one, replicating the precise and powerful dual-kneading action of a skilled baker’s hands.

The result: Stronger dough, softer loaves and a higher rise.

🔔 Never Miss a Last-Minute Drop 🔔

NYC club culture runs on its own timeline — which means some of the best events only surface 24 hours before they happen, buried in someone's Instagram stories with an RSVP link that disappears in ten minutes.

I catch as much as I can for the newsletter, but when something drops late, Instagram is where I post it first.
