Hey {{ Name | there }}!
You might think every party this weekend wants a costume and a theme. Most of them just want you, sweaty and smiling.
Sure, Halloween is creeping in around the edges. At heart, though, this is a classic New York weekend showing off what it can do: great DJs, full rooms and pure joy.
Tonight, PAT takes over Union Pool with Amber Valentine and Justin Strauss. It's a New York institution for a reason: scrappy, warm and open to absolutely everyone.
Friday is stacked. Soul in the Horn brings Natasha Diggs and DJ Spen to The Chocolate Factory for soulful house that's a proper get-down and a proper good time.
Want something more wide-ranging? Cecily and Heidy P at Jupiter Disco move through decades of house and disco in one tiny room.
Saturday, Love Injection plays all night at Public Records. Pros at the helm, totally relaxed about it, the kind of hosts who take care of you so you can just let go.
Starting earlier? Unspeakable Joy turns one at 3 Dollar Bill with DJ James Anthony on 90s and 00s house classics. Truly unspeakable.
Sunday, my pick for something different is Cozy Room at Reforesters Laboratory. Paolo Mosca and Cecilio play slow, patient records on a spatial sound system, a chance to really listen and let the music land differently.
No mask, no character. Just you, unapologetically yourself, connected to the music and everyone around you.

PAT – Amber Valentine, Justin Strauss, Tylerkinesis, Blue Mena, Hope 808 @ Union Pool, on Thu, 22 Oct, 9pm–2am
JD Samson and Amber Valentine's long-running queer party, a Union Pool institution where disco, house and new wave share the floor and everyone is welcome wearing anything and loving whoever they want. Warm, scrappy and joyous, a proper community dance party that never takes itself too seriously.

ROMANCE – Eli Escobar @ Gabriela, on Thu, 22 Oct, 10pm–3am
Sad bangers, big-hearted pop and electro, built for the kind of dancing where you sing every word with your eyes closed. Tears are encouraged, and somehow it's still one of the most joyful rooms in the city.

Joiah Invites – Alex Neri b2b Paolo Mosca, Cecilio, Joiah @ Signal, on Thu, 22 Oct, 10pm–4am
Deep, cosmic and timeless house, moving through warm textures and slow-burning grooves on one of Brooklyn's serious sound systems. A grown-up house night with zero gimmicks, just a long, hypnotic ride into the early hours.

Dance NYC: New Yorkers For Dance – Ali Coleman, Home & Abroad BK Drumming Group, Ishita Mili, Mai Lê Hô @ 26 Bridge, on Thu, 22 Oct, 6pm–late
Dance floor classics from a selector who has shaped NYC club culture since the disco era, woven with live Afrocentric drumming, Bharatanatyam-meets-hip-hop choreography and street and club dance. More a celebration of the city's dance community than a straight party, and a reminder of why moving together matters.

Footsteps – Blvck Truffle, N.B Rhythm, Majii @ Jupiter Disco, on Thu, 22 Oct, 10pm–2am
Deep house and minimal grooves for dancers and deep listeners, high-octane enough to keep your feet flowing and subtle enough to reward close attention. A dancer's night through and through, where the floor talks back to the booth.

Rasaaq, Hugo @ feedbk, on Thu, 22 Oct, 7pm–4am
House and minimal techno in an intimate, audiophile-minded room, rolling and hypnotic from early evening into deep night. Vivid sound, a casual crowd and the kind of slow-building groove that makes leaving feel like a mistake.

DJ Ultra Violet, La Máquina Del Tiempo @ Dead Letter No. 9, on Thu, 22 Oct, 8pm–2am
House, disco and dembow with a vinyl detour into salsa, merengue and Spanish classics, one of the last big nights before the venue closes for good. Sweaty and euphoric, made for singing along with your people when your favorite record drops.

SUBLIMINA – Will Jack, MOLTØNY, SYTHRA @ H0L0, on Thu, 22 Oct, 9pm–4am
Raw, deep, hypnotic techno from a queer collective, atmospheric, tribal and often psychedelic. Less a rave than a moving meditation, where the repetition does the work and you come out the other side lighter.
Friday October 23rd

Cecily, Heidy P @ Jupiter Disco, on Fri, 23 Oct, 10pm–4am
Uplifting house and disco that moves through the history of the genre, from classic Chicago and New York cuts to sunny modern edits. Pure, unpretentious dance floor joy in a small room that feels like a house party with a much better sound system.

Soul in the Horn – Natasha Diggs, DJ Spen, Lovie, Ant Blue, Coflo @ The Chocolate Factory, on Fri, 23 Oct, 10pm–5am
Soulful house threaded with disco, funk, hip hop and global rhythms, from selectors who built their names on keeping real dancers happy. A big, warm Brooklyn floor where a room full of strangers is moving as one by the second hour.

Paradiso – Ultra Naté, Kilopatrah Jones, Karim Olen Ash, Saia, RATONC1T0 @ Paragon, on Fri, 23 Oct, 9:30pm–3am
House and techno from a stacked bill of NYC dance floor royalty and sharp new club selectors, with a dress code that says bring the look. A night that lives by its own motto, find the feeling and don't let go.

Nulu Movement – Anané, Jihad Muhammad, DJ Justice @ Le Bain, on Fri, 23 Oct, 10pm–4am
Afro house and deep, soulful grooves from a crew built around movement and community, high above the Meatpacking District. Rhythmic and hypnotic, the kind of night where the skyline outside is the least impressive thing in the room.

XOXA + Tossd – Kim Anh, DJ Shannon, YASMEENAH, DJ DEADNAME, Sevyn Love, Giovannii @ Good Room, on Fri, 23 Oct, 10pm–5am
House, acid and disco with catchy hooks, plus fast-mixed detours into footwork, UK garage and techno, as two queer dance parties join forces across both rooms. Euphoric and full of twists, built to keep the floor packed well into the early morning.

Franc Moody, Cosmo, Cody Currie, Pei Up, Iris Estefanía, HOT HONEY @ Elsewhere, on Fri, 23 Oct, 10:30pm–4am
Disco, funk and house across three rooms, with cosmic nu-disco in the big hall and one selector going open to close in another. A proper multi-floor night out: wander, find your room and lose track of time somewhere in between.

Outer Heaven presents – Jack Mulqueen, RICCI b2b Bella Mutino @ Outer Heaven, on Fri, 23 Oct, 8pm–4am
Underground house in a small, serious room with a sound system that rewards every record choice, closed out by a b2b from two New York stalwarts. Long blends, deep cuts and a crowd that stays locked in until the lights come up.

Elon @ Moondog Hifi, on Fri, 23 Oct, 10pm–4am
A long, open-ended vinyl session with house at its heart and plenty of detours across genres, continents and decades. One selector, a wall of records behind the booth and the thrill of never knowing what comes off the shelf next.

Club Rawhide Friday Night – Mike Servito, Love Letters, Violet Flux @ Club Rawhide, on Fri, 23 Oct, 9pm–4am
Jacking techno and house inside a club built to honor the Chelsea nightlife that ran from 1979 to 2012. Dark, sweaty and a little nostalgic, Manhattan waking up after midnight the way it used to.

Psychosis: Halloween Party Pt. 1 of 4 – Lauren Flax, Rose Kourts, Serrian, CatLadyHi, Lady Harley, Bea Trinidad @ Dead Letter No. 9, on Fri, 23 Oct, 9pm–4am
Techno, electro, acid and jungle across three rooms for the first night of a four-part Halloween series, with costumes encouraged and the darkness turned all the way up. Unhinged, theatrical and relentless, a horror-movie fever dream that gets heavier by the hour.
Saturday October 24th

Love Injection Invites – Love Injection, Pete BBE, Johnny Reckless, Jeff Higgins, hyanna, Alyssa Stowers @ Public Records, on Sat, 24 Oct, 11pm–4am
Disco, house and soul across three rooms, from an all-night set in the main space to a thirty-year celebration of a great London soul and jazz label next door. Deep crates everywhere you turn, on a sound system that makes every record sound like the first time you heard it.

Unspeakable Joy: One Year Anniversary – DJ James Anthony @ 3 Dollar Bill, on Sat, 24 Oct, 4pm–10pm
Fierce house classics from the 90s and 00s, with live visuals and shows, as the party celebrates its first birthday. A daytime-into-evening throwback where you know every word and the whole room sings along anyway.

SanDia: Season Finale – Yvonne Turner, Donis, Bendito, Jeremy Giros @ Nowadays, on Sat, 24 Oct, 2pm–9pm
Soulful, Latin and Afro house for people who really dance, from a collective that puts freestyle and social dancing back at the center of the party. A rescheduled season closer, so expect a floor full of regulars ready to do it properly one last time.

Refuge Saturday – Floating Points @ Refuge, on Sat, 24 Oct, 10pm–5am
House, techno, disco, jazz and soul from one of the deepest record collections around, on a custom four-stack sound system that surrounds the dance floor. Genre lines blur, the bass hits from every direction and nobody wants to leave before the last record.

Psychosis: Halloween Party Pt. 2 of 4 – Mike Servito, Sister System, Acid Mama, Bea Hardy, beewack, Love Language @ Dead Letter No. 9, on Sat, 24 Oct, 9pm–4am
Acid-soaked techno and pressure-cooker club sounds across three rooms, as the Halloween series descends into night two. Costumes are part of the deal and the mood is pure horror-movie mania, getting hotter and stranger as the hours stack up.

Zombie Skate Night (Vinyl Nights x Thriller NYC) – Misbehaviour, Mz Kitty Kitty @ Xanadu Roller Arts, on Sat, 24 Oct, 7pm–2am
Disco, funk and roller-skating favorites from the 70s through the 90s, with live Thriller performances through the night and zombie looks as the dress code. Equal parts skate party and Halloween costume ball, with chaos on eight wheels.

Justin Strauss // ALL NIGHT LONG @ Gabriela, on Sat, 24 Oct, 9pm–3am
Electro, acid and decades of dance floor history in one long set from open to close, in a small Williamsburg room built for intimate, energetic nights. The longer it goes, the deeper and weirder it gets, in the best way.

Friends ! – Prezzo, UMA DJ, Boat Neck, N.B Rhythm, Majii @ Jupiter Disco, on Sat, 24 Oct, 10pm–4am
Melancholic house, deep dub and records you've never heard before, from selectors with a soft spot for the unexpected and the dancers who follow them. No rush and no set route, just a warm, wandering night that feels a little more like home every hour.

CvnTea: A Spooky Soirée...for C*nts – Nita Aviance, Meilgaarden @ Bogart House, on Sat, 24 Oct, 10pm–4am
Techno and house for a full-on spooky soirée where looks are expected and the costume contest is serious business. Ghouls, glamour and community spirit, with local artists, vendors and a dance floor that goes as hard as the outfits.

Dreamons: Scorpio – Joe Claussell, Paul Nickerson @ Cosmic Arts, on Sat, 24 Oct, 9pm–12am
Ambient and experimental sound for deep listening, across two long sets made for lying back on pillows and blankets rather than dancing. A cosmic reset in the middle of a heavy weekend, part sound bath and part stargazing indoors.
Sunday October 25th

Cozy Room #3 – Paolo Mosca, Cecilio @ Reforesters Laboratory, on Sun, 25 Oct, 6pm–10pm
Slow, patient downtempo selections through a 24.2-channel spatial sound system that moves around the room and lands right in your chest. Half living room, half dance floor, with permission to sway, settle in or do absolutely nothing.

Mister Sunday – Floating Points, Justin Carter @ Nowadays, on Sun, 25 Oct, 3pm–9pm
House and disco in the backyard, building to a b2b finale at the second-to-last party of the season. Phones away, food on hand and a crowd that came to dance until the light disappears.

Love Sensation Sundays – Hex Hector, Benny Soto @ Club Rawhide, on Sun, 25 Oct, 6pm–12am
House and disco for a true New York tea dance, built on the spirit of the clubs that defined Chelsea from 1979 to 2012. An early-evening ritual that's nostalgic, glamorous and served with love.

Sala Sessions – Toribio @ TBA – Club House on Fulton, on Sun, 25 Oct, 5:30pm–8:30pm
Ambient and jazz soundscapes in a deep listening session, with a grounding meditation, custom herbal tea and an incense journey that shifts as the music unfolds. A cozy, living-room-style reset for anyone who needs to slow down together before the week starts.

Diva Diva – PAURRO b2b Kiernan Laveaux, Saia b2b e-Lite @ Public Records, on Sun, 25 Oct, 4pm–10pm
Propulsive, joyful house from two mind-bending b2bs exploring the past and future of the queer underground, with a live performance in the middle of it all. Pure dance floor catharsis, the kind of afternoon-into-night release you'll be thinking about all week.

Boris, ALEXIS DE LA ROSA, Manu Miran, maenad @ Signal, on Sun, 25 Oct, 6pm–2am
Extended, scorching techno that builds patiently from early evening into a relentless late-night peak, on a phone-free floor. The kind of night that takes you somewhere else entirely, where nothing matters but the music.
Let Halloween wait its turn.
Classic New York is calling.
See you on the floor 🪩
